Package mediacontroller does not exist post system update

After a system update, org.kde.plasma.mediacontroller changed its icon and stopped working. When I click on it, I get

Error loading Applet: package org.kde.plasma.mediacontroller does not exist.

I tried searching for this applet, it doesn't seem to have its own package and it is the only applet that stopped working after the update.
It was not a partial upgrade and I did try updating once again right before publishing this.

It should be part of plasma-workspace...

pacman -Qikk plasma-workspace

Re: Package mediacontroller does not exist post system update

Nevermind, it fixed itself after a couple of reboots, when plasma decided to tell me it was updated.

Re: Package mediacontroller does not exist post system update

if you update KDE/plasma and don't reboot/restart plasma issues like these are normal and expected. You should always reboot after a Plasma update because you're going to have mismatches between running and newly started processes and their corresponding libraries.
