Epiphany (Gnome Web): cannot add Web Apps

I installed Web (code name Epiphany) to use web apps but I cannot find the way to install any

When I try to install one from any website (burger menu > Web Apps > Install as web app...) nothing happens; instead, after some research, I find out that it should show a modal window to set the web app name, with save/cancel buttons:

Anybody facing the same issue?

$ epiphany --version
Web 48.5
