[SOLVED] Xorg broken with bus error after updating system with yay

After upgrading the entire system using yay after 2 months of not updating, Xorg stopped working. Some packages were not able to update due to validity checks, notably libglibutil and libgbinder. Not sure if these packages are related to the issue, though, please correct me.

VT7 displays a blinking cursor, and logs show that Xorg encountered a bus error during startup. Although, I don't see any errors coming from the login manager (lightdm).

Tried to resolve the issue by reinstalling `xf86-video-fbdev`, and all related video drivers for AMDGPU in here. Also installing `xf86-video-intel`, to see if that worked. None of these worked so far.

Specs include:
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10210U CPU @ 1.60GHz
GPU: AMD Radeon (TM) 620 and Intel(R) UHD Graphics

NOTE: Log has been copied from a photo using a phone and will include many mistakes (i.e. '7' might be switched to a '?'), apologies.

Re: [SOLVED] Xorg broken with bus error after updating system with yay

Turns out LLVM packages were corrupted during upgrade. Reinstalling these packages using official packages did not work, but downloading through ALM fixed the issue.

pacman -U https://archive.archlinux.org/packages/l/lib32-llvm/lib32-llvm-1:20.1.6-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst
pacman -U https://archive.archlinux.org/packages/l/lib32-llvm-libs/lib32-llvm-libs-1:20.1.6-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst
pacman -U https://archive.archlinux.org/packages/l/llvm/llvm-20.1.7-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst
pacman -U https://archive.archlinux.org/packages/l/llvm-libs/llvm-libs-9.0.1-3-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst

Marked as solved.
