Window Maker dockapps do not work correctly

Yesterday I installed wmaker, I can't figure out how to install dockapps, both after installing from the repo
https://repo.or.cz/dockapps.git and after installing through yay or paru dockapps starts as a regular program window and I can't add it to the dock, but with it there is another static icon with a cube that I can add to the dock

Anyone has ideas how to fix this?

i run "xprop | grep -i class"

and get output
WM_CLASS(STRING) = "wmamixer", "Wmamixer"

but GPT says it should be "DockApp"
