[SOLVED] How do I set the pkgver of a *-git package?

So I've been quite confused about the pkgver of *-git packages. For example, xlibre-server-git 25.0.0.4.r5.7437ce8e3, the 25.0.0.4 is the release version, I get it, but how about the r5.7437ce8e3 part? What exactly does that mean? I've only just wrote 2 PKGBUILD from scratch, both of which I don't have to deal with this -git pkgver problem, so this is the first time I have to deal with this problem
