I'm using a Lenovo Legion Y9000P 2022 and recently noticed that after shutting down (`shutdown now`, `poweroff`, or `systemctl poweroff`) or hibernating (`systemctl hibernate`), the power indicator and NumLock LEDs remain lit. The system continues to generate heat, but the fans do not spin. I have to long-press the power button to fully cut off power.
This issue started appearing after some recent system updates.
System Info:
Kernel: 6.15.6-zen1-1-zen
NVIDIA driver: nvidia-open-zen
BIOS version: J2CN49WW (2022/12/23) – note: the latest BIOS for this model is J2CN61WW (2025/3/11)
I'm unsure whether this is caused by a system misconfiguration or a hardware/firmware issue. Would a BIOS update or system reinstall help resolve this? I'm happy to provide more system info if needed — just let me know what to share.
Thanks in advance for any help!

I've already updated the BIOS to the latest version available, J2CN61WW (2025/03/11), but the issue still persists. I also tried installing Windows 11 temporarily, and the same thing happens after shutdown — the power and NumLock LEDs remain on.
I'm starting to worry this might be a motherboard issue.

It is strange that it has started working normally over the past couple of days, maybe the BIOS update finally took effect?
