[SOLVED] Wifi not working on linux

First time using linux, literally installed today. My wifi used to work in windows but now that I've switched no network connections show up apart from my ethernet connection. Sorry for the lack of info, really new to this so don't really know what I should include. Any help would be greatly appreciated smile

"no network connections show up"

..in what? What are you using to configure your networks? What wireless adapter do you have?

Why would you install Arch for your first distro? How did you install Arch?

Re: [SOLVED] Wifi not working on linux

Sorry for the delay, all fixed now. Wireless adapter was incompatible with linux so I swapped to an AX210. I installed arch as my first distro partly because of the memes but also because I wanted something a little more challenging and rewarding than mint. I'm running arch on a laptop I barely use but still run windows on my daily so it's not like I am really risking anything considering the laptop would just be collecting dust otherwise. I mainly installed arch to experiment and see if swapping from windows to linux on my main pc would be something I might consider in the future.

Please always remember to mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
Thanks.
