Microphone doesn't work? [SOLVED]

Hello! I have been tinkering around for a while, checked out some forums but I couldn't figure out what's going wrong here, my microphone won't show up and it will only recognize my webcam's microphone, which is not good, to put it in kind words, I have audio outputs working for the rear panel and front chassis, it automatically defaults to the front one whenever I plug in earphones, my speakers are plugged in the motherboard, so is my dedicated microphone, on the 2,5mm jack, not a USB connection and not connected to one of my monitors, I know this is a common issue because I've seen a lot of posts about this but I just cannot seem to get it right! Please help!

Your internal card was configured to only expose the outputs (speakers/headphones) and not the microphone input. This command should reconfigure so that the mic of the internal card gets exposed to applications and this should get remembered once set.
