i want to do testing on core

I have a clean install, and in it I created a chroot environment with the devtools package. I enabled the core-testing option in pacman.conf. What else should I do? One concern I have is that to run GUI applications like Firefox, I have to mount proc, sys, and dev. When I mount them, does it create a copy of them in the environment? Is there any way to manipulate the originals that are in the base system? Is it safe to make damage within the environment and with the mounted directories?

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
