dia diagram program no longer available

Anyone know if the dia program will come back? It is no longer in the official repos, and no longer in AUR, only dia-git in AUR, but dia-git is freaking broken.

Any options to get dia back and running in arch?

dia-git builds fine and works for me, my last Syu was 13th july so MAYBE somthing broke since then....

EDIT: can you post your output from makepkg with the errors ?
