Hi all,
I've noticed several times over the past months that pacman sometimes had a different upgrade UI when doing plan "pacman -Syu" upgrade. It would show not only the "Total download" and "Net upgrade size" but would do so for every package in the upgrade list. It had a list with a multi-column display.
Today I performed an upgrade and it was back to the old interface and that list view was gone.
Is there a way to make that list view default? I'm a huge fan of it!
Thanks!

Please vote for all the AUR packages you're using. You can mass-vote for all of them by doing: "pacman -Qqm | xargs aurvote -v" (make sure to run "aurvote --configure" first)

It is VerbosePkgLists option in pacman.conf.
Maybe you did chroot building, which use different conf with it? or merged pacman.conf incorrectly?

Thanks for letting me know what option this was! You're right, when I merged previous changes, I disabled it. Now it's back.
Also, I got bit by this:
warning: insufficient columns available for table displayIf a terminal is too narrow, it will default to a compact view.
Thanks again!
