Hi,
lmms-1.2.2-24 -> 25 breaks ZynAddSubFX. No sound, cannot add preset to music editor. Rolling back to 1.2.2-24 fixes the problem.

According to the bug report zynaddsubfx needs fltk1.3. This is only partly true. To use the GUI in lmms (not when using zynaddsubfx stand-alone) you need a version of fltk (not fltk 1.3 specifically.) Without fltk you can use it headless, so you still can use all build in presets. lmms 1.2.2.25 builds just fine with fltk-support though. I've just build it myself. The same is true for 1.3alpha. This is how you can build lmms yourself:
git clone https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/packaging/packages/lmms.git
cd lmms/
makepkg
sudo pacman -U lmms-1.2.2-25-x86_64.pkg.tar.zstYou can also remove fltk1.3 (it was a dependency of lmms 1.2.2.24) and install fltk 1.4. It's quite unfortunate that the Linux version of lmms still uses fltk, since the modern userinterface of zynaddsubfx is a lot more user friendly.

Thanks martinbaselier!
I've installed lmms-git from AUR, it works great, and it has almost all features I missed in lmms-1.2.2
