NoScript - block javascript, flash
Adblock / Adblock Plus - block ads/banners etc
TabBrowser Preferences - more options for tabbed browsing
These 3 extensions are used on all my firefox installs, both for linux and windows.
The first 2 make surfing a LOT friendlier.
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

The ones I use permanently:
- Adblock
- Greasemonkey for a script to keep track of changes in my last.fm charts
I install and remove other extensions as needed. Usually to do evil stuff such as downloading flash video or entire sites.

How anyone goes through life without Flash Block is beyond me.
Another one I didn't notice up top is Disable Targets for Downloads, although I'm not sure if it exists for newer version of Firefox.

If I understand correctly what Noscript does, Konqueror already has that functionality built in. As well as adblocking.

these are the one's I can't live without:
· Greasemonkey: need my additional shortcuts for gmail
· Stylish* fixes alot of uglyness on webpages
· Tab Mix Plus: Started using it with 2.0, as Tabbed Browswer Preferences doesn't add as much anymore
· Download Statusbar
· Ad Block Plus: I love the collapseable flash ad capability
· Foxmarks Bookmark sycronizer; keeps my bookmarks synced
Other nice ones I use on occasion (installed but leave "disabled" until I need them. (keeps load times down). · Platypus
· Aardvark
· Web Developer
· AllPeers; this works better for me than IM file transfers through my school's network.
enjoy
