So the drive didn't respond to a later rescan AND requried a cold reboot to show up again?
I thought I had pointed that out, but apparently didn't:
3rd link below. Mandatory.
Disable it (it's NOT the BIOS setting!) and reboot windows and linux twice for voodo reasons.

wow as long as an EULA... I think https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/ … x/-/issues is the right place but still no email reply...
Yes.
I did, still the freeze.
See my config under why I still use Windows 11.

"ACPI 5.0" means absolutely nothing itr.
It also doesn't matter that you're "using" Win11, it is just *extremely* important to disable the "fast-start" feature (which is hibernation in disguise and will cause problems *especially* when suspending the system)
Did you also reboot both systems afterwards (twice - voodoo references aside, this isn't just a joke)
This bug will under no circumstances be fixed in the archlinux bugtracker.

You /are/ entering S3, I probably confused tihs w/ another thread in #49
You could test the s2idle behavior, though…

Since it's based on a false premise: yes.
(ftr, contrary to the original assertion, the disk dies on windows suspend as well)
You may still explore the s2idle option (assuming that *some* suspend is better than no suspend at all)
