local pacman dbs wiped after 4 days of no pc usage

please help me
so today i booted up my pc after a 4 day break to find this message (unrelated mostly)

i fixed it
but then i tried to update:

so the only current solution in mind is to reinstall? is this true, or am i stupid?
also i have GENUINELY no clue how this happened, because NOBODY touched my computer (it was fully powered off)

Welcome to the forum.

The log provided is from today and it shows pacman did work and successfully install. Which means that today the directory must have existed. What you did after that?

While it may be unrelated: what was causing the error from the photo and what were the steps you taken to fix it?
