[SOLVED] NVIDIA GPU not showing at all, even under lspci

Hi, I've recently returned to using linux as my main OS for schooling, and because of my trials with it last year during classes I installed envycontrol to aid with disabling the GPU to save battery life. I've recently been having issues with it becoming re-enabled when I change modes, so I ran 'sudo envycontrol --reset' and made sure it removed everything before I deleted it. I plan to try out the default hybrid behavior to see if it's easier.

It seems now the GPU doesn't even show under lspci. I've been checking the wiki, other forum posts, and nothing seems to stick. I'm at a loss. I have a Lenovo Legion 14aph8, which has a Ryzen 7 7840HS and a RTX 4060 (laptop). I still can boot and do work, but the power draw is as if the GPU was enabled. I have a (I think?) separate slow booting issue, but I can resolve that one myself at a later time. I'm not wholly incompetent, and I've been using arch for a year and a half now, but this feels like a noob mistake.

Please let me know if you want any other information.

I'll mark this as solved. I dual boot, and it seems to have gotten stuck as powered off due to my power modes.

PSA: 3rd link below. Mandatory.
Disable it (it's NOT the BIOS setting!) and reboot windows and linux twice for voodo reasons.

Thank you for the suggestion, but I know for a fact that it wasn’t that. I have had that disabled since 2023 and even checked yesterday. If it was really due to behavior like that, it most likely was because I chose to “restart” instead of power off. I’ll change that habit going forward.
