Re: [SOLVED] How do I install 'openra-git' ?

Hey these  are the trusted sources  for downloading open RA: https://www.openra.net/download/

As you can see arch linux have a native package in the extra repo: https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/any/openra/

There is also a flatpak package if you like that: https://flathub.org/apps/net.openra.OpenRA

You probably shouldn't install the AUR version, since it is not needed at all. Everyone can upload to AUR and does not guaranteed that is free of bad intentions, as the arch wiki says. If you don't trust the AUR mantainer or didn't understand what was doing the PKGBUILD, then maybe you need to look closer to what happen. Nevertheless the Arch Linux team is constantly looking for potential bad AUR buildings and deleting them in asap, but that doesn't mean that you need to take for granted that all of it are free of malware, since Arch is made by community effort.

Re: [SOLVED] How do I install 'openra-git' ?

Thank you, it's not working properly so I need to try something else anyways. The fonts don't render correctly and are all pixelated

I am on arm64 so thought I had limited choices

Re: [SOLVED] How do I install 'openra-git' ?

check the flatpak verison, maybe supports arm64. The other way is to compiling the game, since it's an old one i don't think is going to take you much time.
