Fontpath-Problem with R (2.4.0)

Hi everyone.

I just installed R via pacman -S r. R works, however, I have a major problem. Whenever I want to draw a plot, I get the following error (translated from german, so it might be slightly different):

Error in X11() : could not find any X11 fonts. Check that the Font Path is correct.

I tried to install every font-package I could think of but I wasn't able to solve this problem. So I would be _very_ happy if someone could help me on this one. Thx in advance.

Re: Fontpath-Problem with R (2.4.0)

Update:

An quick and dirty workaround would be to start R with

 LANG=de_DE.ISO-8859-1 /usr/lib/R/bin/R

or something like that. But how can I achieve, that I can start R just with R and without the LANG option?
