[solved] FontAwesome fonts not rendering

Hi,

this ->  <- isn't rendered in font-manager nor eww (my actual goal). kitty does, though.

$ fc-list :charset=f796

pango-view also fails to render the icon. But with any value for FC_DEBUG, the amount of ascii garbage is way too high,

3826

fc-cache -fv doesn't fix the problem either. It worked once, but stopped doing so during an upgrade a few weeks ago.

The last block from pango-view, does it look like it's using DejaVuSans to render the glyph?
