Hello everyone who reads,
First time having issues with libreoffice writter with random crashes only when trying to open .docx files. Other extensions and the rest of the suite works fine. So far kinda lost on this because:
When i open it with terminal i got this output (dont look like origin from the crash but follow me here)
""WARNING: A restricted method in java.lang.System has been called
WARNING: java.lang.System::load has been called by com.sun.star.lib.util.NativeLibraryLoader in an unnamed module (file:/usr/lib/libreoffice/program/classes/libreoffice.jar)
WARNING: Use --enable-native-access=ALL-UNNAMED to avoid a warning for callers in this module
WARNING: Restricted methods will be blocked in a future release unless native access is enabled""
Tried to force not using java without any luck, even with other jdk versions so that option seems off.
Safe mode works fine, also flatpak version. The problem only happens with the extra/libreoffice-fresh 25.8.0-1.
Yes, i reinstalled just for doing it so.
So my 2 questions are: Anyone have faced the same issue? Is this some error with package or user error?
Sorry if this is too dumb, but wanted to know the source of the problem is package, or myself :=)
So long Thanks from advanced and for all the fish!

A backtrace is always required to diagnose crashes. Without it it is impossible to answer your questions.

I was facing the same issue with .docx files and some .odt files.
I wiped my libreoffice config using --safe-mode and everything works now.
I suspect some setting/plugin/extension was not compatible with libreoffice's latest update, but I was to lazy to pinpoint it.

libreoffice-fresh 25.8.0-1.
Update to 25.8.1-1! 25.8.0 has a serious bug.

Really aprecciated! didnt think using this , was learning how to do that but
Update to 25.8.1-1!
My mirror was out of sync, so for the sake of updating it and also the system, error out. So didnt have the time to do the backtrace. I gotta watch the update log for the curiosity ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Thanks all!
