[SOLVED] Not able to detect the Logitech MX Master 3 via Bluetooth

Hello!

I have an ASUS G15 Zephyrus laptop. Model: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. ROG Zephyrus G15 GA503QS_GA503QS
Starting configuration: I created a partition on the same SSD where I have Windows.
1 SSD, dual boot Windows/Arch Linux.
I've connected my mouse MX3 with Arch (only via bluetooth, no usb receiver) and everything was working.
When I booted my Windows system and then returned to Arch Linux, it wasn't working anymore.

I tried a few guide from the Arch Wiki + other guides and I was able to reconnect again.
I don't know what I did, I tried to boot with another kernel, restart the service ecc ecc.

Happy with the Arch Linux OS, I decided to order a second SSD to have a clean situation where I have something like this:
SSD1 - Windows (Just in case)
SSD2 - Arch Linux

Now I'm trying to reconnect my MX3 with my Arch Linux but it's not working.

I've updated everything and tried the specific guide about the MX3 that are present in the Arch Wiki.

Here's my version:
$ pacman -Q linux
linux 6.16.4.arch1-1
(I update everything regularly)

I tried to follow the guides but the main problem is that with bluetoothctl, scan on I literally can't see the device.
I'm able to see my Galaxy Watch for example, but not the MX3.
I've tried even with the transport le command to detect low energy devices... but still no luck.

Is there something obvious that I'm missing?
I don't think the Bluetooth adapter is not supported because I was able to connect without problems when I tried the first time.

Thank you?

dual boot Windows/Arch Linux

tried a few guide from the Arch Wiki + other guides

https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Blueto … ot_pairing and also 3rd link below. Mandatory.
Disable it (it's NOT the BIOS setting!) and reboot windows and linux twice for voodo reasons.

Re: [SOLVED] Not able to detect the Logitech MX Master 3 via Bluetooth

Hey, it's working, thank you so much!

I add some notes just to make this post more useful for someone else.
Hardware used: Logitech MX Master 3 and (later) Logitech G915 keyboard. No USB receiver, only direct Bluetooth.

I completely forgot to test this before posting: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Dual_b … ibernation (my bad, it was in my ToDo to tonight)
So I tested this one before everything else.

I didn't changed the BIOS setting as you were mentioning, inside the BIOS this option is still enabled.

I logged into Windows and Control panel > Power options > Change settings that are currently unavailable > Turn on on fast startup (I've remove the checkbox, disabled that option).
Completely shut down windows.

I logged into Arch Linux and it was still not recognized.
Opened the terminal, poweroff command and then when I logged and tried again the mouse appeared (even the Logitech keyboard now is working).

Thank you so much, I'll check all the other links tonight.
