Issue with web pages, conecting to a network, etc.

I've been trying to fix an issue regarding my system not connecting to a network when doing internet related actions, for example, when opening a link in a new tab in firefox sometimes the page doesn't load on the first or second  or third try, I've set my mtu to 1280 for my ethernet connection as I saw that someone was having a similar issue on another post but the issue keeps coming back, I can ping into things and my network seems to be working fine when I do tests in terminal.

FYI I am connected into a network repeater using an Ethernet cable.

Any ideas?

Thank you smile

Re: Issue with web pages, conecting to a network, etc.

If you're using mainline kernel 6.16.3 or 6.16.4, then this network issue is due to a regression, which is likely to be fixed in 6.16.5.

Kernel: 6.18.8 stable | Boot Manager: GRUB2 | DE: KDE Plasma | Login Manager: SDDM | Compositor: KWin

On top of that, if "a link" refers to anything archlinux, there's still https://archlinux.org/news/recent-services-outages/ and part of the mitigations might require you to repeat the request (ie. page only loads on second attempt)
