[SOLVED] nvidia-utils signature is invalid

so I have this where when I update with sudo pacman -Syu it gives me this error
error: nvidia-utils: signature from "Peter Jung <ptr1337@archlinux.org>" is invalid
:: File /var/cache/pacman/pkg/nvidia-utils-580.82.09-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst is corrupted (invalid or corrupted package (PGP signature)).
I can't seem to fix it. I tried refreshing the keyring or any of the method below
sudo pacman-key --init
sudo pacman-key --populate archlinux
sudo pacman-key --refresh-keys
sudo pacman -S archlinux-keyring

my timedatectl is this if it helps
$ timedatectl status
               Local time: ศ. 2025-09-12 20:25:08 +07
           Universal time: ศ. 2025-09-12 13:25:08 UTC
                 RTC time: ศ. 2025-09-12 13:25:08
                Time zone: Asia/Bangkok (+07, +0700)
System clock synchronized: yes
              NTP service: active
          RTC in local TZ: no
This is my first time here posting. Thank you.

Re: [SOLVED] nvidia-utils signature is invalid

Remove file and signature from cache and re-fetch it.
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Pacman … ure_errors

Nothing there says that it's a problem  w/ the key, but the actual file might be corrupted

Re: [SOLVED] nvidia-utils signature is invalid

I fixed it. it's a problem with mirror. my pacman mirrorlist somewhat got me the bad packages. fixed with another list with more recently updated mirror.
