Hello!
I have install Arch on Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon Gen13 Aura Edition using archinstall. Everything seems to be working properly except for the brightness control. Every time after the laptop is woken up from suspend, the brightness is set to maximum. After I press the brightness control button on the keyboard, or echo the value to
/sys/class/backlight/intel_backlight/brightness, the brightness is set to normal, even if the value was the same as before. For example,
cat brightness > brightnessfixes it.
I have looked at the file values after suspend, and
/sys/class/backlight/intel_backlight/actual_brightnessis set to 0 after wake up.
My config:
Kernel: 6.16.7-arch1-1
Environment: Gnome
What should be my next steps? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your reply! I do not have amdgpu driver, my laptop has intel integrated GPU. The issue seems to only be connected to AMD GPUs. Should I still test the workaround?

The wiki suggests a workaround, basically resetting the backlight manually w/ a sleep/resume hook.
Probably same as https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=307614 ?

Thank you! I'l try it.
I have also noticed that this behavior persists only if I set refresh rate of the screen to 120Hz. If I set it to 60Hz the brightness acts as normal.
