[SOLVED] libinput update broke all mouse devices

Hi,

on my Lenovo Thinkpad X250, after the upgrade to libinput-1.29.1, all mouse devices (synaptics touchpad and an IBM trackpoint) stopped working and are gone from

$ libinput list-devices

Downgrading to libinput-1.28.1 fixed the issue.

installing libinput-git also fixed the issue. Thus we can probably just sit that one out.
