Hello,
Does anyone have a good experience using the Nvidia-open-beta driver for the Nvidia RTX 5070 TI (it uses the Blackwell architecture) ?
or maybe a suggestion as to a different driver that also works.
thank you very much in advance.

https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/NVIDIA It should work. It seems that some users have issues with the turing series, but blackwell as far as I know it should work. I don't have one, but I haven't seen anyone here complaining about the driver in any 5000 series. But in case nvidia send a buggy release you can always downgrade the kernel module to a fine release using pacman and wait until the fix. I said kernel module because in reality it's not a driver, you still uses close sources programs but without the GeForce bloatware commonly in windows driver version.

Sorry it took me a while to respond. I have been using it for a little bit now and it indeed runs excellent. No complaints what so ever.

Are there tangible benefits to using it vs the non-beta?

Right now, there is no beta, so it's exactly the same thing.
