Extend To Second External Monitor

I already have connected a 4K TV @24Hz display in addition to my laptop monitor.

I am looking to connect a second external monitor minimum 4K@24Hz (I do not play games).

xrandr lists a display port the hardware of which is not externally located on my laptop.
arandr also lists a DP-1 under outputs (greyed out now)

Question
Why this DP-1 listing and can I use it to extend to a second external monitor

I have 1 USB 2.0 and 2 USB 3.0 ports on my laptop.

This Wavelink Adapter can supposedly convert USB 3.0 to Dual 4K@60Hz Monitor Hub but it explicitly states that it is NOT Compatible with Linux, Unix, iPad OS & iOS.
However I found https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/DisplayLink which should (TM) work. Will this particular hardware be a safe buy or should I investigate some other hardware?
This Wavelink adapter will add additional load on my CPU which I could avoid if DP-1 can be used.

One of the USB 3.0 port connects to an external TP-Link Wireless Adapter  and the other is connected to a external mouse.
If Wavelink occupies one USB 3.0 slot then I would need to purchase a USB hub to connect my external mouse and keyboard to the remaining USB 2.0 port.

Last Option
Use my VGA-1 port with a VGA2HDMI converter but I know I will only be limited to 1920x1080. I need minimum 4K even 24Hz (which I currently have is acceptable)
