For the past few weeks I have an issue with plasmashell in which the pop ups in the panel simply stop popping up (app launcher, bluetooth dialog, network, all of them). The section is underlined when clicked, but the pop up is not there.
Happens on both current and LTS kernel. System is up to date. Running kernel 6.16.8-arch3-1 on Wayland with an Nvidia Quadro P1000 GPU with drivers 580.82.09. KDE Plasma version 6.4.5, frameworks 6.18.0, QT 6.9.2.
Currently, as a workaround, I have a shortcut on Alt+r set to restart the plasmashell user service. This fixes the problem for a bit, but it reoccurs again very quickly. Checking journalctl and logs of the plasma-plasmashell user service, there are some warnings before the issue occurs but none exactly when it does occur:
