It's gonna be invoked by /usr/lib/udev/rules.d/60-openrgb.rules
I wonder if an update of openrgb broke it on my system?
Seems plausible - try to downgrade it in isolation and or remove the udev rule, don't forget to reload udev: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Udev#Loading_new_rules
Downgraded it to 1.0rc1-1 but the issue persists. Suppose I'll try and mask the rule. This is all quite odd, can't recall this being an issue a few weeks ago...

So removng the udev rule fixes it, but breaks applying a profile. I don't know why it's running during wake from resume, but if that can be stopped I assume it would work as usual.

The udev rules seem to only change permissions (uaccess tag and for some devices chmod) because the openrgb service will run as unprivileged user.
The critical change might be the xhci resets you can see in the journal (causing the device to be re-added)
systemctl status openrgb.service
If that's active, stopping and restarting the service around the sleep might be a viable workaround, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Power_ … leep_hooks

This is inactive (dead). Won't be a viable work around. Though changing me entire mirrolist to 08/01/2025 fixes the issue. Unfortunate that this is what must be done. It is what it is I suppose.

Can you reproduce this w/ sysytemd 257-9?

Was just about to get started on this so I moved my mirrorlist back to present, and did pacman -Syu. Seems to be working now for whatever reason. Kernel 6.17.1. Probably the kernel wasn't the issue. Maybe some sort of conflict that got resolved who knows.
Beats me!

\o/ ?
Please always remember to mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
Thanks.
