How to report package bug?

Hey guys, I know about the bug in PKGBUILD of particular package. There is "Add new bug" link on package page, but that points to gitlab issue tracker, where I can't create account. I've asked for account on accountsupport@archlinux.org 5 days ago, no response. And from recent thread on this forum, people are reporting months without answer. So basically there is no way to report package bug? Shall I just email package maintainer directly on his personal email address displayed on his gitlab profile or something?

New accounts tend to be processed reasonably quickly.  Regaining access with lost 2FA can take a long time.
