a few missing fonts

I have the dejavu condensed fonts installed, but they do not appear in the font-selections of ANY programs, whether gtk or qt (they only appear in microsoft word, which I intalled through crossover). Not even when I run these programs as root. However, the dejavu condensed fonts are still being used for my kde interface (menus, etc) because I set them a long time ago.

I tried reintalling the fonts, of course, but that has no effect.

It has been like this for about two weeks now, despite regularly doing "pacman -Syu"s. Any thoughts?

Re: a few missing fonts

Try as user and root:

fc-cache -f -v

Re: a few missing fonts

Thanks. I tried that, and I tried fc-cache -rv, and the condensed fonts now appear in gtk apps, but not in kde apps. I also uninstalled then reinstalled the dejavu fonts, same thing.
