problem with gnome-mag on upgrade

Just did a pacman -Syu and im getting a big problem with gnome-mag on upgrade.

I get this over and over again:

db_read: error: /var/lib/pacman/local/gnome-mag-0.13.2-1/depends: No such file or directory

then i can say Yes that i want to install whats up for install, and i'll get this:

checking package integrity... done.
loading package data... done.
checking for file conflicts... error: /var/lib/pacman/local/gnome-mag-0.13.2-1/files: No such file or directory
[[[this line over and over like 100 times]]] error: /var/lib/pacman/local/gnome-mag-0.13.2-1/files: No such file or directory

then after a while I will get what you see here in the pastebin: http://pastebin.archlinux.org/1171

i tried clearing the pacman cache with a pacman -Scc but that did nothing for me. any tips? its probably something small im overlooking, but can anyone point it out?

Re: problem with gnome-mag on upgrade

It seems that your local db is corrupted. To fix it, try:
# pacman -R gnome-mag
# pacman -S gnome-mag
if that doesn't work, remove the /var/lib/pacman/local/gnome-mag-0.13.2-1directory, and reinstall with:
# pacman -Sf gnome-mag

Re: problem with gnome-mag on upgrade

that did the trick
only thing is, im finding as time goes on that a whole lot of packages are corrupted after that update, so im coming across ones here and there that have to be removed and re-pacman -Sf'ed

thanks for the help

Re: problem with gnome-mag on upgrade

If I understand correctly what you  mean by corrupted, you have other packages that gives the same errors as gnome-mag? If so, you might have filesystem/hard drive problems on the partition where your db is.
