While sharing links to `archlinux.org` and `aur.archlinux.org` on social platforms, I noticed that both sites do not have Open Graph images. Specifically, there is no og:image defined in their HTML metadata.
Without this tag, shared URLs display a plain text preview or a generic image. This might not be a technical issue per se, but adding Open Graph metadata (especially an og:image) could make Arch-related pages more recognizable and visually appealing when shared across platforms.
If a designed graphic is too much, a lightweight solution small static logo image served via the site’s existing assets could be considered.
Has this been discussed before, or is there a particular reason such metadata is excluded from the official sites?
Thanks in advance for your insights and for maintaining such a clean and efficient ecosystem.

Would be an awesome (and I guess easy enough) contribution, check out https://github.com/archlinux/archweb and https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/aurweb

Hey @gromit
My merge request for archweb has been under discussion for a week now. https://github.com/archlinux/archweb/pull/594
There’s no rush. I just wanted to mention that once it’s cleared up, I’ll proceed with aurweb.
(I would also a require the svg logo for AUR, couldn't find it anywhere.)
