I have been having trouble accessing internet outside of a wired connection. I installed Arch following the wiki. The only way I could access internet was through USB tethering.
I have tried a lot of things, but because this is my first time doing something like this, I don't know if I'm doing the right things or just missing a simple step.
lspci reveals that my network adapter is
Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Inc. and subsidiaries BCM4352 802.11ac Dual Band Wireless Network Adapter [14e4:43b1] (rev 03)
Subsystem: Lenovo Device [17aa:0623]
Kernel Driver in use: wlI have installed *broadcom-wl* and *broadcom-wl-dkms* drivers (alongside *linux-headers*), but nothing came of it.
I have been at this problem for a couple days googling and searching the internet for an answer. If anybody can help, I would very much appreciate them.
Thanks

Hi Seth, thanks for replying. I had someone I know look at the machine and they solved the issue in a matter of minutes.
It turns out I just never connected to my network and password so no matter how much I pinged servers on wifi, nothing would ever return.
Ultimately I used NetworkManager CLI to connect to a network.
nmcli device wifi connect <your SSID or Network Name> password <your pass>In this situation, I was typing code snippets out by hand because my installation was only using the CLI with no desktop environment, but in the future, I will have a desktop so I can copy paste the...
ip a; rfkill...type results.
Thanks for initiating the help process.

Please always remember to mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
Thanks.
