Brave creates new wallet instead of using default one

Hi everyone,

I’m running Arch Linux with Hyprland and I’m trying to use KWallet as my password manager with Brave.

However, when I launch Brave, it doesn’t use my existing wallet named “kdewallet” (which is the recommended default according to the documentation). Instead, it asks me to create a new wallet called “trousseau de clés par défaut” (which means “default keyring” in French).

I’d like Brave to use the existing kdewallet instead of creating or using this separate one.

What’s the proper way to make Brave use kdewallet?
