NVIDIA GPU missing on Arch Linux when BIOS is in Hybrid Mode (HP Victu

Alright...

Im losing my mind rn, trying to get hybrid graphics working on my HP Victus 16 (AMD Phoenix iGPU + NVIDIA RTX 4060) running Arch Linux (KDE Plasma + Wayland).

when BIOS is set to hybrid system boots, but I get a blank screen with a cursor NOT blinking and i have to close and reopen and hope laptop opens

lspci | grep -i nvidia

returns nothing

and sudo dmesg | grep -i nvidia says NVRM: No NVIDIA GPU found.

when i set BIOS to discrete everything works perfectly. lspci shows the NVIDIA GPU and amd gpu, drivers load fine, games run, no issue.

I’ve installed the NVIDIA drivers from the repo:

sudo pacman -S nvidia nvidia-utils nvidia-prime

and i added to this to my grub

nvidia-drm.modeset=1

I have used archlinux in this exact laptop before. But i got no idea why im having such an issue currently???

Later i tried these:
I formatted the whole thing and just stick with archinstall it downloaded the -dkms for me.
Later i realized that my bios was f.12 (got no idea how... the laptop is brand new its not even a year old) i thought maybe upgrading that could help. I upgraded that to F.30 with official docs.
Issue still persists currently i genuinely have no idea what to do...

Hi,
if you say, with "discrete gpu" the system shows both cards with "lspci"... Why do you want exactly hybrid in the bios?
What is your plan, do you try to passtrough a gpu with qemu or something else?

Hello! I selected the discrete gpu mode just to show that my nvidia card is working (there are no damage or no issues).
I want to run in hybrid mode because of battery life and i dont want my laptop to open fans even in small tasks (when im in discrete mode this often happens.)

Right now, for some reason my laptop just literally unplugs the nvidia card itself before booting up and my nvidia driver gives me "You got no NVIDIA" error.
This is happening to me for the first time with this laptop. I have been using it for a while. But after formatting it, it became like this. (I tried to format it again but didnt helped)
I just want to use my laptop normally in hybrid mode. I am not trying to use an emulator or anything like that.

This error is quite inconsistent too it sometimes happens sometimes not... I realized this issue often happens when im not plugged to the power for at least 5~ minutes before booting up.
