Clipboard doesn't work after update

Hi
A week ago I did update my Archlinux KDE Wayland. After update my paste became gray in all applications like clipboard is empty. I restored backup and everything got ok so the update is to blame. Now after one week I told to myself such an important issue after a week has fixed so update again but the problem persist. anyone has the same problem or know how to fix it?

It won't be fixed unless you report it on kde bug tracker. But then Nate Graham will say your report is "whining" and will tell you to either fix it yourself or pay someone else to do their job bc the KDE devs never know what they're doing, just writing some random code and if it works - it works. Doesn't matter how many regressions it will bring, the most important thing is that the new code worked. Then they'll wait 10+ years for a user to give them the solution and in the end, instead of crediting the user who fixed it for them, they'll put it in the announcement that "they" have fixed the problem and won't even mention the nickname of the user who gave them the solution.

It's an endless circle with KDE...

Have you tried the behavior w/ a fresh user account?
(The clipboard has generally been a complete mess on wayland)

Worksforme™️. I've seen occcasional issues with this if you have either multiple instances of klipper accross multiple panels (make sure there's only one) or if you have alternate clipboardmanagers installed fighting over the correct dbus endpoint. Do you see error messages in a dbus-monitor/journalctl regearding the clipboard?

fixed by preventing klipper from upgrade:

sudo pacman -Syu --ignore=wine, klipper

That klipper is hopefully not related to Plasma's clipboard but seeing/hearing this...

I am kind of having the same issue...

The clipboard works for me just fine, I copy and paste in any native app and flatpak apps. On bottles though, I can paste on the bottles flatpak app itself, but if I try to paste on any app running from bottles (world of warcraft, sketchup, etc) it doesnt work. I can copy from wow and paste in a native app and it works. I am at a loss here...

But maybe it is somewhat related to this issue?

(I am sorry if it is unpolite and break any rules pointing out this subject here, since it doesnt really help OP).
