The AUR only supports 20.2.1-1 and not the newer version 20.2.2, is there a way of getting the newer version to work or is arch stuck to the 20.2.1-1 version?

PKGBUILDs are recipes for building packages, if you don't want to wait for the maintainer to make the necessary changes, you can grab the PKGBUILD and update the pkgver and the checksum of the corresponding files: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Makepk … _checksums to make the validity check pass (or if you trust your internet connection and the download source, 'SKIP' the check of the new version)
