I am running Arch Linux since many years as a guest in a VirtualBox system. I just installed a new PC with Windows 11 25H2.Since then I have a problem with the Arch Linux VM. I cannot safe the state of the VM, because when I restart the VM it always crashes. On the old PC with Windows 10 I have done this thousands of times. Now I always shut down the VM completely.. After doing this several times suddenly the XFCE desktop suddenly come up black. I never had this before. How can I get my normal desktop background back?
I also noticed that all my VirtualBox guests are running in Green Turtle Mode (very slow), although Hyper-V is not active.

I want to add some information:
Just after starting the virtual PC I cannot see the mouse pointer. Everything is black. Only after the start of an application I get the mouse pointer.
When I start a software (like Thunar, or Firefox) in the broken VM, the window is without the title bar and the windows are moved a little higher. When I open a context menu with a right click I cannot select anything, because as soon as I move the mouse the menu closes.
The PC is almost unusable.

The PC is almost unusable.
Wipe Win11 and install arch?
Sounds like GPU acceleration is broken.

Disable the https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Xfwm#Composite_manager and please post your Xorg log, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Xorg#General but now xfwm4 seems to fail to start entirely, check https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Core_d … _core_dump
