Hi all,
Got a bit of an odd one I've been trying to solve myself with no results. Whenever I connect my Bluetooth headset on a fresh boot there is a short period where I have heavy stuttering in Plasma on Wayland. The stuttering is both in mouse motion and audio if it is playing at the time (I also have the stutter when not playing audio). The stutter period is never consistent, it can be anywhere from a couple of seconds up to a few minutes and it'll persist even if the headset is disconnected and reconnected AND if the Bluetooth interface is restarted. It has persisted through multiple Bluez, kernel and Plasma versions. When it happens the journal and dmesg give no useful errors or even much information pertaining to Bluetooth.
Here are my system specs:
KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.19.0
Qt Version: 6.10.0
Kernel Version: 6.17.5-arch1-1 (64-bit)
Bluez Version: 5.84-1
Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
Memory: 64 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Mainboard: GIGABYTE X670E AORUS MASTER
Bluetooth: Intel Corp. AX210 Bluetooth
Headset: Sony WH-1000XM4
And I can provide a dmesg and journal dump of a boot session where it happened on request (if someone could let me know what pasting service you recommend). Does anyone have any ideas or can they point me in the right direction of where to start looking?

Hi all,
This has been solved by a motherboard swap (which was done for unrelated reasons). I'll mark it as solved.
