After much struggle i managed to install packet tracer by downloading the .deb and installing it with yay.
When i go to login there is only one option to log in and not to log in with skills for all. when i click the one login option it doesnt open anything in the browser
i downloaded and installed version 9.0.0 of packet tracer

Hi, I had the same issue, but I solved it by checking the Advanced Settings>Use internal web browser for Cisco Networking Academy login
Although for me, the check box has a very dark background and the check is black so it's very hard to spot it's state, but it's not broken.

Yup! I tired everything to get packet tracer to open the brower but it would never work. ticking the very dark box (you can kinda see the checkmark if u look hard enough) worked for me. it just opened the email login within the app and boom, I'm in. I'm on KDE plasma 6 on arch and I think this is the solution!

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
