Problems regarding VMware Workstation and Vmnet & Vmmon Modules

I know this question already got asked a few times but I couldn't really find a solution for my problem.
So basically everytime update Vmware Workstation to a new version I run into problems with the vmnet and vmmon modules.
When I start my VM I get a notification that my modules are not compatible with the current version of Vmware, which makes sense because I just installed a new Version.
This happened to me once or twice already. Back then I just updated my linux headers, which fixed the problem. But in my current situation it does not work.
I just don't know where i could install the newer version of the modules. Vmware wants me to install the 418.0 version I believe.
I have dealt with this issue a couple of times now and always managed to fix it but I really just don't know what to do anymore.
Thanks for helping me wink

Re: Problems regarding VMware Workstation and Vmnet & Vmmon Modules

Are you using the 25H2-4 version of the aur vmware-workstation package ?

If yes, does (re-)booting after the upgrade help ?

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

I am using the version 25H2-4. I've tried rebooting and updating my headers, but the error is still appearing

Re: Problems regarding VMware Workstation and Vmnet & Vmmon Modules

Smells like a DKMS problem, please post the output of dkms status .

Also as root (or with root rights) run

# journalctl -b | curl -F 'file=@-' 0x0.st

It will upload the full journal of your current boot to a public hosting site and output a link.
Post that link.
