I don't know that there already has been a Vulkan support for ollama on Arch!

Time to remove ROCm.

Regarding my issue I do have rocm installed along ollama, so I guess it could be a reason for my issues, although I think I haven't used them during the session where it was happening.
However, since pacman upgrade I haven't experienced this anymore and the only packages upgraded were:

[2025-11-03T17:57:05+0100] [ALPM] upgraded libdrm (2.4.127-1 -> 2.4.128-1)
[2025-11-03T17:57:05+0100] [ALPM] upgraded lib32-libdrm (2.4.127-1 -> 2.4.128-1)
[2025-11-03T17:57:05+0100] [ALPM] upgraded libvirt (1:11.8.0-1 -> 1:11.9.0-1)

Do you have a journal actually covering the freeze?
