Internal Microphone Not Detected

Mic was working fine until yesterday during a zoom call. Audio seemed to randomly switch to "Cannon Point-LP High-Definition Audio Controller" for the first time, which I don't recognize. Working on a Thinkpad T490 and I swear it was RealTek this whole time, but I could be hallucinating. Unsure if that's related, but it's when I noticed the mic not working. Settings indicates "No Input Devices" on audio input. Additionally, the indicator light on the F4 key which toggles the microphone quit working.

When I run

 arecord -vv --format=dat /dev/null 

I can see that it detects sound, so the microphone is at least working.

Volumes are up and capture is on in alsamixer capture view as well.

arecord -Dhw:0 tmpRecording.wav

work? Technically the mic is there, even from a pulse perspective but marked as "unavailable" if it randomly happened during runtime, did you update the kernel or any audio related packages when doing so?

I get

I haven't updated either zoom (where I first noticed the issue) or any other packages dealing with the microphone at least. The only audio-related activity I've had recently is messing with mplayer to get sound to work on HDMI.
