[Solved] Multiple refresh rate with X11 Plasma

Currently I am running a dual setup 1. a laptop monitor 1366 x 768 @60Hz 2. 4K @24Hz TV laptop HDMI output to TV HDMI inpurt with my Intel iGPU.

Connected a third screen from laptop VGA output --> passive vga 2 hdmi converter --> hdmi cable to TV HDMI input. Officially the laptop VGA (Dsub 15-pin) supports: 2048×1536 external resolution @ 75 Hz but with the passive adapter in between I get 1920 x 1080 at 60Hz with xrandr automatically.

Behviour
When I run all 3 screens at 60Hz I get triple display alright. 1920 x 1080 from both HDMI and VGA output and 1366 x 768 on the laptop screen.

What I want is to run the HDMI output 4K @24Hz and the VGA output at 2K @ 60Hz and 1366 x 768 @60 Hz on laptop screen.

Trails
When I configure the HDMI output at 4k@24HZ the HDMI output gets black screen while the other two have 60Hz display.

Effort
I researched about multiple refresh rate with X11 Plasma KDE and tried lots of solutions to no avail.
Noticed some people had success but mostly had discrete GPU Nvidia or AMD while I just have Intel iGPU.
Some said Wayland should(TM) support multiple refresh rate automatically so I switched to Wayland also but in vain.

In X11 compositor is disabled.

xrandr --verbose

should suffice, too.

VGA output --> passive vga 2 hdmi converter --> hdmi cable to TV HDMI input. Officially the laptop VGA (Dsub 15-pin) supports: 2048×1536 external resolution @ 75 Hz but with the passive adapter in between I get 1920 x 1080 at 60Hz with xrandr automatically.

Applied 3840x2160_24.00_rb2  24.00 to VGA-1 resulting in black screen.  HDMI-1 runs at 4K@24Hz while laptop remains unchanged at 1366x768

Before dropping the 24Hz configuration I tried using the 30Hz configuration but failed.
Also directly connected the monitor using HDMI and dumping the edid
Regarding VGA-1 supporting  cvt12 2048 1080 60 I think it is limited by the passive adapter in between but I will still try.

The directly attached output has

Too bad that I am stuck with 1080p with VGA-1.

I wanted to run VGA-1 1080 and 4K@24Hz simultaneously which is not happening currently.

What do I do towards the above step?

Went on whirlwind tour on bloatware where I could configure and get to work both 3820x2160@24Hz and 1080p60 simultaneously. On bloatware there is nice utility provided by Intel Graphics Settings where I could choose which 2 to run out of 3 (HDMI, built in screen LVDS, VGA) which got me thinking that maybe I could only run 2 out of 3 screens simultaneously even on Arch. On bloatware I could even configure HDMI to 4096x2160@24Hz. Scoured the internet to find others facing the same issue of running only 2 out of 3 screens simultaneously even though 3rd Gen Intel processors are advertised to run 3 displays simultaneously. Could not even run 3 displays simultaneously on bloatware.

Came back on Arch and replicated the same success as on bloatware. Now I am using ARandR utility to run HDMI-1 4096x2160@24Hz and VGA-1 1080p@60Hz simutaneously. Cannot run all 3 screens at the same time with my desired configuration but I am happy running 2 at least for now.  Cannot push HDMI-1 to 30Hz whatsoever.
