[SOLVED] Failed to mount /sysroot, recent archlinux laptop installatio

arch had been working completely fine on old dell laptop but then had some weird issue with an unexpected shutdown or something arch disappeared from my bootmenu so i arch-chroot'd in via live usb and regenerated with efibootmgr, although the uefi recognizes the bootloader booting does not succeed and i get these messages:

[ OK ] Finished Virtual Console Setup.
                Mounting /sysroot. . .
[FAILED] Failed to mount /sysroot
 'systemctl status sysroot.mount' for details
[DEPEND] Dependency failed for Initrd Root File System.
[DEPEND] Dependency Failed for Mountpoints Configured in the Real Root.
[ OK ] Stopped target Basic System.
[ OK ] Reached target Initrd File Systems.
[ OK ] Stopped target System Initalization.
[ OK ] Started Emergency Shell
[ OK ] Reached target Emergency Mode

im locked out of root in emergency mode despite it having a password, when i boot from liveusb the advice to  'systemctl status sysroot.mount' for details no longer applies it seems, journalctl -xb is massive so any advice filtering through the noise would be appreciated just to save some back and forth here is my fstab:

when i do run jorunalctl -xb this is the message i am seeing most often so if this a lead i have no idea how to make out what it is telling me to do

Nov 15 13:49:05 archiso kernel: pcieport 0000:00:1d.0: AER: Multiple Correctable error message received from 0000:01:00.0
Nov 15 13:49:05 archiso kernel: r8169 0000:01:00.0: [ 0] RxErr (First)

Nov 15 13:49:05 archiso kernel: pcieport 0000:00:1d.0: AER: Multiple Correctable error message received from 0000:01:00.0

because i can arch-chroot into my system just fine i assumed somrthing with the boot partition got corrupted so ive tried fsck (which im not sure if used properly), i reformatted the partition via mkfs, i reinstalled the linux kernel, i regenerated fstab and switched UUID of boot partition to PARTUUID because it seemed like the UUID was changing (strangely a much shorter string than the other UUIDs)

thank you dedicated members of the archlinux forum  <3

This is usually because of a misconfigured bootloader. What bootloader/boot manager are you using?

efi boot stub via efibootmgr, otherwise default Dell BIOS UEFI bootloader (Inspirion 3593)

update: you were right i just deleted the bootstub and recreated it, before i mark as solved i am genuinely curious if there was something in journalctl i could have grepped to deduce this myself? Im assuming i just misstyped the root id or something but i cant really discern the difference between the old bootstub and the new bootstub
