Clone Hero is a simple executable file. As long as I allow it to be executable, I can run `./clonehero` to execute it. I think it could be slightly more convenient than this.
I have a "File bookmarks" folder where I keep several symlinks to my most-used files. I made a symlink to the `clonehero` file, which I would like to execute from nnn. I can press "o" (open with) and type `kitty`, which opens a terminal window and runs the game from there. For everything else, I can simply press "Enter" or the right arrow key. It would be nice if Clone Hero was this simple, as well.
Is there a simpler way to execute this file with a symlink? Could I write a bash script for this?

You can use the AUR mirror on github: https://archlinux.org/news/recent-services-outages/
nb. that the package depends on the deprecated https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/gtk2 but I'm also not sure how this answers your question.
Apparently you put the binary into something that's not in your $PATH and you might have to run in its $PWD
No idea whether the AUR package achieves that for you but there seems to be some metadata (script and desktop service)

This has been a low priority for me, but I finally came back to it today. The package you linked works great! It's actually better than what I had in mind, since I can run it from Rofi. Thanks!
