input method not work in kitty and neovide?

both of them are based openGL I guess? and my laptop doesn't have nvidia GPU?

glxinfo | grep "OpenGL renderer"       
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa Intel(R) Graphics (LNL)

I have set global environment in /etc/environment goes like:

GTK_IM_MODULE=fcitx5
QT_IM_MODULE=fcitx5
XIM=fcitx5
XIM_PROGRAM=fcitx5
XMODIFIERS=@im=fcitx5
SDL_IM_MODULE=fcitx5
INPUT_METHOD=fcitx5
#GDK_BACKEND=wayland
GLFW_IM_MODULE=ibus

I tried both fcitx and fcitx5 in above, but it doesn't work.

besides I also set environment variables GLFW_IM_MODULE=ibus of kitty in KDE menu editor
am i missing some packages?
I've been confused for several months.

I switched my DE from KDE to niri wayland compositor,  the input method now work fine with many apps.
