Hey Guys, newcomer here.
Yesterday i installed Waydroid following the Waydroid Arch Linux Wiki page up until the "Building a kernel" step.
I really did'nt want to build the kernel and decided to just continu with the "2 Installation" section.
Everything worked fine. I later installed the waydroid-script-git AUR Package like in Step "6.2 ARM Apps Incompatible" and when my apps started to work i was done for now.
Today i booted up my PC and my ethernet connection was'nt working anymore. It's stuck in a loop of trying to configure some addresses and then showing a message that its connected but cant reach the internet. Im currently connected via wi-fi.
Things i've tried:
- pacman -Syu
- uninstalling waydroid (via octopi which also removed waydroid-script-git appearently)
- removing binder_linux-dkms AUR package which i installed in Step "1.4.1 DKMS modules" and removing the created .conf files
- resetting Network-Manager configurations
I can't find the issue here. If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great.
Thank you ![]()

After a lot of tinkering i've decided to restart the router.... it works now.
I've read something about dhcp leases that gave me the idea that perhaps my router is the issue.
Anyway. Problem solved even tho there was no real problem to begin with
sorry guys
Not sure if i should mark it as [Solved] tho. Dont want others to think i found an issue for their unrelated problem.
