Removed microphone and all but one monitor: issue persists
Removed microphone and all but another monitor: issue persists

I would rather not disable/remove my sound card. I did not even own it when I started this topic so I highly doubt it's the cause.

Re: Popping and buzzing in pipewire

https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=310368 is somewhat interesting - if you set the master to 100% and lower the pcm, do you still get the crackling?

Re: Popping and buzzing in pipewire

Played around a bit in alsamixer, but I don't have good news. Lowering the PCM and Master to ~60 causes the issues to be more mild due to the volume. Lowering the PCM to ~60% and leaving master at 100% still has issues and the same vice versa.

Re: Popping and buzzing in pipewire

Can you record the noise?
Also since I'm just looking at it: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Advanc … connector)
Some unconnected (analog) mic-input might be collecting dust?
